LAST MEETING FOR 2024 - 19th  December  2024

FIRST MEETING FOR 2025 - 16th January 2025

The Thursday Night Group (TNG) is an unpretentious mob of writers with a penchant for variety. Our members create novels, poems, memoirs, Monologues, and short stories encompassing a wide range of genres.  Every year we publish an anthology of our latest work and for the last ten years have sponsored a team in the Write A Book In A Day (WABIAD) competition, for charity, of which we have won several. Our members regard the TNG as the perfect tool to test ideas and improve our writing. On the last Thursday of every month we issue a challenge to create a short story of around 1000 words, from a sentence selected at random, from a randomly selected book in the KSP library.

TNG is open to anyone and starts at 7:30 every Thursday evening at the KSP Writers' Centre.  If you would like an opportunity to read your work to an appreciative audience, and critique the writing of other members this is the group for you.

The only requirements for membership are a good sense of humour and a love of creative writing.
