Writing the Dream: An event to inspire writers-in-training
The KSP Writers' Centre is proud to bring you Sunday Sessions: feature author talks and open mic nights on the last Sunday of every month. This inspiring event series gives you the chance to mingle with and learn from authors who've achieved great things in the publishing industry - and want to share their knowledge with you. Also offers a great opportunity to practice performing your own work in front of a small crowd. BYO drinks and nibbles and take a seat in the Balcony Bar for a great evening of readings and socialising. (There is no session in December.)
KSP's Sunday Sessions include a glass of red from local wine-maker Lion Mill Winery.
The final session for 2016 on Sunday 27 November will feature boutique WA publisher Serenity Press to launch a must-have anthology for aspiring authors, 'Writing the Dream'. This wonderful anthology shares delightful, heartfelt, and often heart-wrenching stories from twenty-five published authors, including KSP Writer-in-Residence alumni Natasha Lester, Guy Salvidge, Anna Jacobs and Juliet Marillier, who provide personal accounts about their journey to publication.
